We believe that a rare and beautiful artifact deserves a custom-made mount.

A naturally posed, anatomically correct mannequin breathes life into history.

The pose can be a conventional contrapposto or something more dynamic. A well-made mannequin will connect and engage viewers more effectively.

CONSERVATION GRADE

​

Figures are carved from museum-grade Ethafoam (closed-cell polyethylene foam).

A custom welded steel skeleton is retrofitted.

​

PROCESS

​

Using measurements from the assembled armour, an anatomically proportional figure is carved in the desired pose.

A fitting with the armour is carried out for final adjustments and to note any special requirements.

Final finishing includes welded skeleton, stockinette, and hand-sewn covering.

I have been making horses for museums and collectors all over the world for over thirty years.

​

Horse casts are made in fibreglass with a painted or furred finish and have welded steel

inside the legs and body.

​
